Justin Siegel, a qualifying member of the insurance industry’s most prestigious association, the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), specializes in life insurance strategies for high-net-worth families across the business, sports and entertainment spectrums. His expertise in life insurance products for the senior market, as well as the specialized vertical of policy audit and analysis assures that he intimately understands the specific insurance and estate planning needs of each client with whom he works, both from a personal and technical perspective.
Prior to joining Gilbert-Krupin, Justin successfully brokered deals in the online music entertainment world as the director of business development and booking agent for ARTISTdirect, Inc. Through conceptualizing, negotiating and executing strategic partnership opportunities, Justin vastly improved the bottom line for both the company and the A-list artists it represented.
Justin began his career as a professional baseball player, first with the Texas Rangers organization and later with the Boston Red Sox organization. He attended North Carolina State University and continued his education at California State University, Long Beach, where he was a member of the All Athletic Dean’s list.
After unsuccessfully coming back from several arm surgeries, Justin retired from baseball and began consulting for young players just entering the majors, helping them develop their long-term financial and vocational strategies. He realized that, particularly as a former athlete and through his work as a financial professional, estate protection and preservation was the key to a solid future. He focused on developing an expertise of life insurance and within his first three years as a life insurance professional, he qualified for the insurance industry’s elite association, the Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT), and counted some of the world’s most well known entertainers, athletes, and CEO’s amongst his clients.
Widely regarded in the life insurance industry, Justin conducts insurance planning seminars to many of the top business managers, CPA’s, and financial advisors throughout the country, focusing on estate planning strategies utilizing insurance products as well as the senior market which involves planning for clients 60 years and older.
While at the tail end of his professional baseball career, Justin married his high school sweetheart, Leigh Anne, with whom he has two daughters, Daryn and Sydney. Justin and his family reside in Marina Del Rey, CA. He serves on the board of directors for Rock the Classroom, a nationally recognized literacy based non-profit which focuses on teaching children through the use of music. Justin’s hobbies include baseball, surfing, reading and avidly collecting every great piece of music possible.
