Mike Meyer brings decades of business and strategy success to his role as professional insurance planner at Gilbert-Krupin Insurance and Estate Planning. Mike’s specialties include charitable gifts and financial stewardship as they relate to life insurance and estate planning.
Prior to joining Gilbert-Krupin, Mike created and managed several multi-million dollar entities in entertainment, business and new media. He began his career as the director of business affairs and dramatic development as well as an artist manager at Bernstein-Thompson. As his negotiating skills developed, he moved on to create Meyer-Stewart, an entertainment management and production firm. While Meyer-Stewart continued to thrive, Mike created a second entity, Rigrod-Meyer, that focused exclusively on entertainment law while Meyer-Stewart moved into more production and packaging. In 1995, Mike founded Internet Broadcast Systems, the first online broadcasting system, which later became Pervasys, a company he took public and ran for 9 years as chairman and CEO.
In addition to his work at Gilbert-Krupin, Mike is the technology editor for the Century City News and is a consultant to several churches and ministries throughout Southern California. Mike has served as the executive in charge of production for over 20 film and television shows, and has written and produced over 20 movies.
A Beverly Hills native, Mike earned a JD from USC, a masters in ministry from Harvest Bible University and BAs in History and Russian from Amherst College. He also attended the Monterey Institute of Foreign Studies and the Pushkin Institute in Moscow. He is currently working towards his doctorate in ministry, and enjoys spending his free time with his wife Lily.
